Founder of Dezba

Linda started her professional career after finishing graduate degrees in Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill and began work as a clinical psychologist. She was involved in developing and implementing the programs for the Federal Government to train and review the Department of Transportation drug-free work place policy and procedures.

This led to her involvement in the Federal HIPAA compliance program working with local government and businesses. She became interested in the credit card processing arena including as an expert witness for DOJ relating to credit card issues. While working with larger companies, she shifted career gears to start Dezba.

She is a member of the first class (less than 180 nationwide) certified by the Federal Government in 2011 to address the new concepts of changing the credit card industry by offering a certification of CPP-Certified Payment Professional.

Since moving to Charleston, she is involved with many local community nonprofits to include serving as a Board Member for Slow Food Charleston, the Center for Women, Charleston Concert Association, Charleston Ballet Group and member of First Scot’s Presbyterian Church. Her memberships in other local groups include the NAACP, Pet Helpers, King Street Marketing Group, among others.

Dezba Credit Card Payment Solutions was founded in 2003 with a mission to serve its clients by offering competitive and affordable prices, as well as provide up to the minute information on changing laws and products.
